Humber Bridge Half Marathon 2014

Wendy ran the Humberside Half-Marathon on Sunday 29th June 2014.

This event covered over 13 miles and at 12 miles took the runners over the Humber Bridge.

Wendy completed her 1st half-marathon for the Fallen Heroes of Normandy, in 1 hour, 49 minutes and 22 seconds. She was placed 540th out of 1,682 runners and raised £TBA.

Normandy Le Marathon de la Liberté

D-Day Landings Marathon

Sunday 15th June 2014

Stef Durkin ran Le Marathon de la Liberté, also known as the D-Day Landings Marathon, in Normandy, on Sunday 15th June 2014. This event took place during the 70th anniversary commemorations of the Normandy landings.

The marathon covered 26 miles, 385 yards (42.195 kilometers) from Courseulles-Sur-Mer, along JUNO Beach, SWORD Beach, by Pegasus Bridge and finished at the Mémorial de Caen.

Stef completed his 29th marathon, and 2nd for the Fallen Heroes of Normandy, in 3 hours, 31 minutes and 21 seconds. He was placed 399th out of 1,796 runners and raised £135.

Yorkshire Marathon

Stef ran in the Yorkshire 2013 Marathon, the first marathon he ran for the Fallen Heroes of Normandy. He was placed 1,379th out of 3,884 runners and raised £172.
