Wireman LEONARD STOCKS was one of 8 men killed, onboard His Majesty's Landing Craft Tank (HMLCT) 967, when it was mined and sunk on Tuesday the 13th June 1944.
There is conflicting information on where the landing craft was built.1 It is not presently known where, precisely, it was sunk off the Normandy coastline.2
