LINDSAY KINSMAN KIRK was one of thirteen children, 8 brothers and 5 sisters. 4 of the elder brothers, including LINDSAY, served in the Second World War.

 

LINDSAY served in the Royal Engineers, John Nicoll Kirk served in the Black Watch, Robert Kirk served in 2 Battlaion, Royal Scots Fusiliers and Frederick Kirk served in the Royal Air Force. Driver LINDSAY KINSMAN KIRK was the only brother not to come home after the war.
