WILLIAM BLACK was born in Midlothian, Scotland, United Kingdom. He lived at 322 McAslin Street, Townhead, Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom, before joining the Army.

 

He stayed with his parents, brothers and sisters and never married or had any children. His two brother James and Michael Black also served in hte armed forces during the Second World War, his brother James in a tank regiment. WILLIAM BLACK's interests included electronics and making things.1
