Flying Officer WESLEY ELMORE CUMMINGS was pilot of Supermarine Spitfire IX MJ982, of 401 (Royal Canadian Air Force) Squadron. His aircraft hit the ground during a low level attack to destroy a rail bridge at Granville on Thursday 27th April 1944.1
