JOHN BLAIR MABON was born 5th October 1918 at 11 Bolingbroke Street, Dene, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. He was 1 of 5 children to George Blair Mabon and Jean Blackwood Mabon (nee Blair). His siblings were George Blair Mabon, Elizabeth Blair 'Betty' Mabon, Thomas Blair 'Tom' Mabon and Jean Blair Mabon.1
