GERALD O'LEARY was born in Drakefield Road, Tooting, Surrey (now Greater London) on the 14th December 1908. He was living at 25 Dalebury Road, Upper Tooting and working as a Sergeant with the Metropolitan Police, when he joined the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.
