ERNEST RICHARD SIMPSON was born in Islington, London and was 1 of 11 children. He married Doris in 1940 and lived in Edmonton, London. They had one son, Terence Edward Simpson. Private ERNEST RICHARD SIMPSON was killed on Saturday 8th July 1944. His son was only 11 months old.
