Dearest Uncle Len, you will be hopefully pleased to know that your brother's daughter Elaine (that's me) has a little girl called Summer aged 7. Tomorrow on Anzac Day, she will be talking about her relatives who lost their lives in the war. We love you very much. x

What a tragedy that his buddy and the officer were killed the same day. He was so young and it was truly a sad day when he was KIA. May he rest eternally in peace. What a hero.
